Service Agreement

Terms governing the provision of home healthcare services.

Last Updated: February 6, 2025

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") constitutes a binding legal contract between MyVaidh and the User/Patient ("Client") regarding the provision of home healthcare services.

By booking a service on the MyVaidh Platform, the Client agrees to the following terms:

1. Scope of Services

MyVaidh provides home healthcare support through deployed General Duty Attendants (GDAs) and Nurses. The scope is strictly limited to:

  • Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
  • Vitals monitoring (BP, Sugar, Pulse).
  • Medication administration as per Doctor's prescription.
  • Basic wound care and catheterization (by qualified Nurses only).

The Client acknowledges that a home environment is not a Clinical Establishment or ICU. MyVaidh is not liable for outcomes resulting from the natural progression of critical illnesses or the lack of hospital-grade infrastructure at the Client's home.

2. Emergency Medical Protocol

In the event of a medical emergency (e.g., cardiac arrest, respiratory failure), MyVaidh Caregivers are instructed to follow the "Life-First Protocol":

  • Call Ambulance (102/108) FIRST.
  • Alert the Family Members present.
  • Alert the MyVaidh Command Center.

MyVaidh is not liable for delays in ambulance arrival or adverse medical outcomes during the transfer to a hospital.

3. Client Responsibilities & Safety

Safe Environment: The Client must provide a safe, harassment-free environment for the Caregiver. MyVaidh has a Zero Tolerance Policy towards verbal abuse, physical violence, or sexual harassment. Such behavior will result in immediate termination of service without refund.

Medical Equipment: If MyVaidh provides equipment (e.g., Oxygen Concentrator), the Client is responsible for its physical safety. Damage caused by misuse or negligence by the Client/Family will be billed at cost.

Security of Valuables: The Client agrees to secure all cash, jewelry, and sensitive documents in a locked safe. MyVaidh advises against keeping unrestricted valuables in the patient's room. MyVaidh is not liable for theft or loss of personal property unless proven by a police investigation to be the fault of our employee.

4. Payment Terms

All payments must be made directly to MyVaidh via the App or official bank transfer.

Direct cash payments to Caregivers are strictly prohibited and MyVaidh will not be responsible for any loss arising from such unrecorded transactions.

5. Indemnity

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MyVaidh, its directors, and employees from any claims or damages arising out of:

  • The Client's refusal to follow medical advice.
  • Instructions given by the Client to the Caregiver that contradict standard medical protocols.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions not disclosed during assessment.
